comment re: emails - I frequently use emails to communicate with patrons about requests they have made. Occasionally a reference question is emailed - generally it concerns finding information for a genealogy search. We don't archive things in our library so I have to direct the patron to the Becker County Historical society for the info they want.
I have not used text messaging.
Haven't schedule myself for a webinar as of yet though I did watch one with another library professional not too long ago.

trading card

Did a trading card today. That was pretty easy.
I can see i need to bring my digital camera in and start uploading photos so I can do some of these projects. I don't want to rely on someone else's work. I did find other photos on freefoto.com.
Problem with using my digital camera is that I'm not real savvy with that either. Another thing on my growing list of things to do.

no subject

Just wanted to have something on my blog for today. On my last post i forgot to put down when the photos of the cocker spaniels came from - will take care of that soon. Hopefully I will spend some intense time on the 23 things. Some of my staff are going great guns on it.

6/6/08 - trying again to upload the photo - ran out of time last time. I was't attaching the correct URL - i think I've got it now. Here are 2 pictures of cocker spaniels.

Flickr lesson

6/3 - Trying again to do 23 things on a stick. I've done the RSS one. Kind of cool but don't know how much I'll use it. Am now doing Flickr. Again a neat tool - but taking me a long time to get through the lesson. I'm going to try and upload a picture of a cocker spaniel since it reminds me of my two dogs.
